Lookahead Gantt for Jira
Raise a request on the support portal and you can track it through to an answer. It goes direct to the person who builds the app, not a queue.
Replies within two business days, Monday to Friday, Finnish time (EET/EEST). The portal asks for your email the first time, so you can follow the request and reply without digging through your inbox. Prefer email? Write to support@dripwork.dev and it reaches the same place.
What you can raise
The portal has three request types. Pick whichever is closest; we will sort it out either way.
- Report a problem — something isn't working, or isn't working the way you expected.
- Ask a question — anything the documentation doesn't answer.
- Request a feature — something the app doesn't do yet that would help your team.
What to include
The more of this you can give, the faster this gets solved. None of it is required.
- What you expected to see, and what you saw instead.
- The space (project) key, and a work item key if one is involved.
- Any message Lookahead showed you, copied out or screenshotted.
- Your browser, and whether you use Jira's light or dark theme.
- Whether it happens every time, or only sometimes.
Please don't send credentials, API tokens or passwords. Nobody supporting this app will ever ask you for one.
Before you raise a request
These four cover most of what people ask. The documentation has the full detail.
A work item is missing from the timeline.
It almost certainly has no dates. The toolbar shows N without dates; select it for the list. Also check View → Done work items and the Levels menu, either of which can hide a row deliberately.
Bars are using the wrong start date.
Open Date settings, the gear icon, and pick the field your site actually uses for start dates. Lookahead guesses, and on some sites it guesses wrong.
I can't change a shared view.
Only the person who created it can. Use Save as… to take your own copy, then edit that.
The timeline says the subscription isn't active.
A Jira admin can renew it in Jira settings → Apps → Manage apps. Saved views are never deleted while a subscription is inactive.
What support covers
- Problems with the app: something broken, wrong, slow or confusing.
- Questions about how it works, including anything the documentation doesn't answer.
- Bug reports and feature requests. Both are welcome, and both get a real answer.
Lookahead only reads Jira, so a problem in the app cannot change or damage your work items. Whatever has gone wrong, your data is intact.
Billing, invoices, refunds and cancellations are handled by Atlassian, not by us. Raise those through the Atlassian Marketplace, which is where the purchase is made. See the licence terms.
Reporting a security issue
Email support@dripwork.dev directly rather than using the portal, and please give us a chance to fix it before disclosing it publicly. Security reports are answered ahead of everything else.
